One sport that I for one that have never tried, and won’t is that of being a cheerleader for a local team – school or otherwise.
Sure we had them went I went to school, back in the dark ages, but now they have perfected this sport to where numerous competitions are held in various areas around the country.
We normally think of cheerleading being a sport for female’s only, but think again and being realistic and not racist the guy’s are stronger and hopefully able to hold or carry more than a female or lady cheerleader.
This is not meant to be a racist remark, but in contact with other involved in this sport, they tell me it’s a simple fact and who am I to argue – after all they compete and I don’t.
Home Coming
Uniforms are at the colour of the school and/or university in the area normally with the school logo on the sweater and shorts.
The University of Kansas is known as KU and is located in Lawrence one of the largest college towns in Kansas, which also has the highest elevation in Lawrence.
Now we are hearing that in what was probably a “stunt gone wrong” maybe even fit for Jerry Springer’s show, three males and one female showed up on the field with “T-Shirts” with what many called a very demeaning display unfit for the public.
We are hearing that they (the students) were making reference to the recent US Presidential Election and President Elect Donald Trump, which the school deems unfit.
Not really what is more disrespectful – this or the so-called pro Athletes kneeling during the Anthem as a form of protest, which realistically is disrespectful to those who have served and currently serve the Nation for freedom?
We are hearing that the suspension was handed down when school officials were directed to Twitter denoting a specific letter on the sweater(s).
All students are barred while the Division 1 School investigates the incident and will then make a ruling on this matter.
It is mentioned that the female cheerleader posted the photo although she indicates that she would never have done such a thing as this.
