The weigh in of Battlefield 22 took place at the Sandman Hotel in Vancouver Thursday February 21st at the Shark Club.
All the participants were in attendance as well as their coaches heading into Friday match at the Vogue Theatre February 22nd.
The Feather weight bout between Geoff Bodnarek and Aaron Chin started off as Bodnarek from Franco Kickboxing and Pankration hit the scales at 145.7 pounds and Chin 145.5.
Next up was Martie Wyse (Impact MMA Nanaimo and Taylor Nicholson (Urban MMA Surrey). Wyse checked in at 137.8 and Nicholson 137.7 pounds in a Bantam Weight bout.
Tai Bray (Franco Kickboxing and Pankration) and Rob Bishop (Independent Kelowna) were next as Bray hit scales at 160.5 and Bishop at 159.1 pounds in a catchweight bout.
Brad Falk (Revolution Fight Team Langley) and Wan Allard Falk his weight 179.3 and Allard (Independent from Gibson) at 180 pounds in their catch weight category.
Next Bryan Gall (Franco Kickboxing and Pankration) taking on George Moriatis (Universal MMA Vancouver). Gall checked in at 146.6 pounds and Moriatis at 145.8 pounds in a featherweight bout.
Mike Dechavez (Universal MMA Vancouver) hit the scales at 133.5 taking on Colin Butts (Dirt Nap MMA Campbell River) checked in at 136.7 in a Bantam weight bout, Bryce Gougeon taking on James Foster in a middle weight fight Gougeon check in at 182.8 pounds and James foster hit the scales at 185.3. Oliver Vajda (Raptors MMA Maple Ridge) taking on Oren Hanscomb (Pure Self Defense Campbell River) as Vajda hit the scales at 144.1 and Hanscomb at 144.6 for their Feather Weight bout.
As we came to the main event opponents with the Champions Andre Silva (Titan MMA Coquitlam) hit the scales at 145.6 and his opponent Hanz Pangilinan (Franco Kickboxing and Prankration) his weight 144.5 challenging Andre Silva for the Feather Weight title.
All the events took place at the Vogue Theatre (Vancouver) at 7:00 pm.

The event should be a great night of MMA action in Vancouver to see the up and coming talent in the Battlefield Fight League which is three years old, continuing to grow in all areas of the Province giving local fighters a chance to begin a career in MMA.
