Bouchard/Raonic Advance At French Open

To the surprise of many tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams will both be heading home early, which never makes organizers happy.

Serena, who is the defending French Open Champion and a 17-time major winner, lost to Spain’s Garbine Muguruza 6-2, 6-2, marking her earliest exit at a major tournament since falling in the first round at Roland Garros two years ago.

Serena’s older sister Venus was eliminated by Anna Schmiedlova of Slovakia in three set’s 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
