National Certification Clinic

Published on

One sport that we don’t often cover, yet it’s a sport that has a strong registration in is Karate and given the popularity, Karate Canada has booked a national certification clinic in BC on January 9/10, 2016.

This year, we are pleased to announce that the Karate Canada Chief Official Yaro Tarana will be conducting the course.

This course will be held in conjunction with the final training session for the BC Team at the Fortius Centre in Burnaby, prior to the National Championships at the end of the month.

All National Level officials who wish to officiate at the upcoming National Championships should attend. Provincial Referees are permitted to test for a national license, upon approval of the BC Officials Committee, so direct any inquiries to our Chair, Paul Sexton.

We welcome any interested Karate BC officials to audit this course, or to use this course to upgrade a provincial license.

Also please confirm the same info to the following email address: andreask(at)shitoryu.net as well as copy the National Officials Committee Secretary at hayabusakarate(at)gmail.com.

Any time you can attend an event, it’s well worth the time taken to learn from the best.
