Broadcasting From Big White

We have it and they want it, so the saying goes, especially if you are from Australia known as the land down under.

It seems that Australia has sent one of the Major TV Networks to do a “live hit” from Big White in Kelowna, which is great for tourism not only locally, but around the world.

Channel 7’s Breakfast television show called “Sunrise” spent the full day filming separate segments at the World Class Ski Resort to show what a true winter holiday destination looks like to views in Australia.

Apparently Big White is a popular ski resort for those living in the land down under and thousands make the trip each year to enjoy a true Canadian Winter.

The weather presenter known as Edwina Bartholomew was in heaven as she got to drive the snow machine or to Canadians it’s know as the Zamboni.

From what I am told she was in heaven and she was impressed that she never required a drivers license in order to drive it, which to her was a shock.

Oh well, that’s what we do in Canada – welcome to the BC
