I for one find it interesting when any pro team gets involved with the community, but more so today’s youth for teaching and development.

Such is the case with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC as they officially announce the upcoming 2017 BMO Kickin’ with the ‘Caps Community Clinics.

Beginning the first weekend of March the Whitecaps FC are running several community soccer clinics in the Metro Vancouver area.

They will introduce the sport of soccer along with the skills needed to youth age players 7 through 10.

Those taking part in the clinics have the opportunity to meet Whitecaps FC players as well as receive instructional coaching from some ’Caps players and coaches!

It’s noted that the WFC2, Girls Elite REX, and Whitecaps FC Residency players will also participate at the sessions.

All clinics will begin with a skills session and immediately followed by a “World Cup” style tournament.

In a manner of showing support by means of a donation the Whitecaps FC will ask and collect a $5.00 donation per youth participant attending the skill clinic.

All of the proceeds received will go to support the ‘Caps community partner in the lower mainland called the BC Children’s Hospital.
