Moving from one tier to the next is a major step for Junior hockey in BC considering that everything is moving at such a fast pace for all leagues.

Last year we saw a unique level of  distinct Junior leagues from the BCHL which was then Junior A to the three Junior B leagues in the province.

Given the stand that was undertaken by the BCHL to pull out of Hockey Canada it was only fitting that the Junior B leagues elevated their status to Junior A which they did.

There are major hurdles that they are faced with but each has to date been met with professionalism as they advance.

Last season the PJHL and the KIJHL held their first BCHC Prospects Game in Chilliwack which was well received in addition to having the banquet webcast by SportswaveTV the night prior.

As the leagues continue to grow we are hearing that this years Prospects Game will be held in Kamloops

The British Columbia Hockey Conference announced today the Pacific Junior Hockey League Roster that will compete in the second annual BCHC Prospects Game on Tuesday, November 28th at the McArthur Park Arena in Kamloops, BC.

The PJHL’s roster selection process has been guided by Head Coach Aldo Bruno, Assistant Coaches Andy Liboiron and Cullen Revel, and Operation Managers Derek Bedard, Will Kump and Clayton Robinson over the past month.

Prospects Game rosters are composed primarily of 2006- and 2007-born players, with a maximum of six 2005-born players eligible to be selected.

The PJHL’s Top Prospects Bus will travel to Kamloops from Chilliwack on Monday, November 27th where they will practice and attend an event banquet prior to the game the next day.

The 2023 BCHC Top Prospects Game will face off at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28th and will be broadcast on Flo Hockey.
