Pistorius Trial Delayed

Published on

His life was off to a good start and following the Olympics’ it seemed that his life had or would change – all for the better, but we were wrong.

It seems that life does not always deal you a full deck and somehow you get involved in that cycle they call “Love” and boy how your life changes.

In the case of Oscar Pistorius, it changed completely in the wrong direction, back in his homeland and now we read about him in the headlines, but in the wrong direction.

Oscar will start a period of psychiatric evaluation at a government institution next week, as ruled by a South African judge Tuesday as she postponed the Olympic athlete’s murder trial until June 30.

A panel of mental health experts will decide if the double-amputee runner can legally be held criminally responsible for killing his girlfriend.

The residing Judge in the case Thokozile Masipa took just a few minutes read her ruling and stating that he must present himself at 9 a.m. Monday and every weekday after that at the Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital in Pretoria.

Pistorius (27) states that he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who is two years older (29) by mistake through a toilet stall door on Feb. 14, 2013, thinking she was an intruder robing the place.

This could have been so much different for the one they call the Blade Runner
