Officials Selected 4 IIHF

Published on

BC Hockey is proud to announce the accomplishments of a number of BC Hockey officials who have been selected to attend upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) events.

The level system has come a long way from the start and I clearly remember attending my level 6 seminar in Victoria with Jim Fisher and it was well worth the experience.

“These officials are all deserving of their IIHF assignments, and the BC Hockey Officiating Program is very pleased to announce these,” said BC Hockey Referee-In-Chief Rob Fryer. “We offer our congratulations on behalf of all officials in BC.”

BC Hockey implements the Hockey Canada Officiating Program to train and evaluate officials working within BC and Yukon.

The Hockey Canada Officiating Program has opportunities for everyone from the Initiation at Level I, through to the High Performance Levels V and VI.

The BC Hockey Officiating Program will continue to develop BC’s top officials, and allow for them to make the next step in their development.
