NBA Bound?

Published on

Like a novel depicted in the Wizard of Oz written by L. Frank Baum this player is taking up residence in another state bound for greener pastures. Toto appears in the Hollywood movie again in 1939.

Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins officially announced what has been expected for a long time, that being he is headed to the NBA after his only season with the Jayhawks franchise.

The 6’8″ power forward was voted to the second-team All-America is expected to go in the top three picks in the June draft, while many think he might be drafted first overall.

Wiggins was the top-rated recruit when he finally arrived at Kansas, but his short but brief career was a bit like a marriage on the rocks.

He struggled early in the season, but managed to catch fire midway through, and then dropped off again, just when it mattered and they counted on him the most in an NCAA tournament loss to Stanford.

Wiggins only scored four points on 1-for-6 shooting in the third-round defeat. Afterward, he said that he let his team down with his poor performance.

He’s obviously hoping he becomes as famous as Dorothy and the real Toto!!!
