For those living in Vancouver this could not have come at a better time. That being the role that Camilo played in the game at BC Place scoring three goals against Colorado in the Whitecaps final game of the season.

Former player Martin Nash was due to re-surface, somewhere – someplace.

This time it is in the Nation’s Capital – Ottawa.

Former Whitecaps (midfielder) Martin Nash was named the Assistant Coach of the North American Soccer League’s Ottawa Fury FC.

Nash stated “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to join Ottawa Fury FC as they step into the NASL and I am looking forward to working with an experienced coach in Marc Dos Santos and helping him build a team from the ground up.”

He retired from pro soccer in October 2010 and remained with the Whitecaps as a first team scout and a coach in various capacities within the organization.
