Lead Up To Rio 2016

Rugby Canada is bidding to annually host a major international event in Vancouver starting in 2016 and the official announcement will come later today.

The 2016 event is a  key qualification competition in the lead-up to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and builds on Vancouver’s proud history of hosting world class sport and culture events following the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

Please join a host of BC dignitaries, leaders from Rugby Canada, Senior National Team Athletes, and the Bid Committee as they overview the sport event, the bid and the benefits to Vancouver, BC and Canada.
