Budweiser Newest Canuck

Published on

Canucks Sports and Entertainment announced a multiyear partnership with Budweiser. The beer-producing giant is arguably the nations favorite beverage. The tantalizing taste is what gets underage college kids searching “how to get fake id” every time a Budweiser commercial comes on the TV.
As the official beer sponsor of the Vancouver Canucks, Budweiser will also become the official beer of Rogers Arena. “We share a commitment to provide a premium product and a world class fan experience at Rogers Arena,” said Victor de Bonis, Chief Operating Officer and Alternate Governor, NHL.
“As partners, Canucks Sports & Entertainment and Budweiser are equally committed to educating and emphasizing the importance of responsible use and celebration.
We look forward to the new initiatives this partnership offers to our fans.”
“Budweiser is thrilled to become the official sponsor of the Vancouver Canucks and a proud partner to the team.
Bud will bring its passion for and love of hockey to Vancouver to create more great times surrounding the game,” said Jeff Ryan, Director of Corporate Affairs, and Labatt Breweries of Canada.
“Budweiser has a strong history of encouraging responsible drinking and positive fan behavior through its Good Sport program. Our partnership with the Canucks will see this trend continue to help ensure more fans enjoy the game responsibly.”
In an effort to further educate and emphasize responsible drinking, the Budweiser Good Sport mural will help launch the 2011.12 season.
Situated on the North Plaza and signed by representatives from the Canucks Sports & Entertainment and Budweiser, fans are encouraged to sign the Good Sport mural to support the message of responsible drinking.
Budweiser will continue to spread the moderation message with ads in Rogers Arena during game time. Digital signage encouraging responsible drinking will also appear during the third period of the game. In addition to promoting responsible drinking, the multi-year partnership also includes the following:
Tickets, Promotional rights, Naming rights to sections within Rogers Arena & Media
