Baseball Canada Anniversary Logo
Regardless of where you were or what sport you played when you were young, baseball was a part of it.
We enjoyed the hours we spent with friends throwing the ball around and it was never really an issue of what the diamond looked like.
Field conditions, No uniforms along with just a group playing ball, that’s what it was about and over the years it’s kept friendship going from season to season.
Baseball Canada has come up with a design representing the 50th Anniversary of the sport in Canada. The logo that will be used during 2014 to commemorate 50 years as the National governing body for baseball in Canada.
The logo will be used on promotional material including both web-based and print, and will also be displayed at all nine Baseball Canada National Championships during the 2014 season.
Baseball Canada’s three National Teams will wear a commemorative 50thAnniversary patch during the 2014 baseball season.
On January 11th in Toronto, the logo will be on display at the annual National Teams Awards Banquet and Fundraiser taking place at the Renaissance Hotel.
“We are very proud and excited to celebrate our history and our great game in 2014,” Baseball Canada’s President Ray Carter told members of the media.
He continued “Fifty years as an organization is a significant milestone for Baseball Canada and we look forward to servicing our membership for many more years to come.”
