2015 GREY CUP

Published on

Each year the CFL names a new host City for the Grey Cup will once again be Winnipeg, who hosted it last in 2006, when the BC Lions defeated Montreal 25-14.

For those who have not lived in Winnipeg, the City is fan friendly and will be a welcome addition to the history book for the CFL.

The 2015 Grey Cup will not only be played in one of the CFL’s newest stadiums, it will promote the volunteers that are a huge part for this event.

League commissioner Mark Cohon made the official announcement in the Manitoba capital, that the 103rd Grey Cup will be held at Winnipeg’s Investors Group Field.

He told the media “the Grey Cup in Winnipeg will celebrate what is a very bright future in one of Canadian football’s proudest homes.”

The Blue Bombers officially opened the $200-million Investors Group Field for the 2013 CFL season.

The 2014 Grey Cup will be hosted by the BC Lions and held at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.
