Sisters Make History In Sochi
Amidst all the concerns surrounding the Sochi Olympics, a pair of Canadian Sisters will go down in history as the first to grab Gold and Silver in the Mogul event. In what many might say was a simply unbelievable performance, it happened!!
This was the first time in the Olympics that two sisters stood on the podium together and they state “We skied the best we could ski for Canada.”
The defending Olympic Champion Hannah Kearney (USA) won Bronze for her try and all four women of the Canadian Moguls Team made the second finals in the new Olympic format.
Audrey Robichaud finishing in 10th place and the third Sister Maxime Dufour-Lapointe in 12th position to which she was disappointed with her run.
The wait and the hours of hard work is well worth it and for these two Sisters to pull off an impressive win such as this, is simply remarkable.
