Run for Life 2015

A BIG thank you to all who came out and walked or ran 5km last Sunday in support of Run for Life.

Run for Life was held at Sungod Recreation Centre last sunny Sunday, April 12th.

150 participants ran or walked the 5km route in memory or in honour of a loved one.

All monies raised go directly to BCCCPA (British Columbia Childhood Cancer Parents Association) and The Canadian Cancer Society.

Donations can still be made to either charity and dropped off at Sungod ATTENTION: Shelley Donald

Tax Receipts will be issued for all donations of $25.00 or more.

The events First Place (Men) Andrew Macvey (20-29)  raced in at 21:38 with First Place (Women) Sherrie Budai (40-49) , racing in at 23:28!

WOW! Those are fast 5km’s!

Organizers would also like to thank the following that helped sponsor this years event.

Those include Sungod, White Spot at 72nd, New Balance, local merchants and all of the volunteers! Without the support of the community this event would not be possible!
