Premier League Match-ups
The Ravens will attempt to get back on track after a late collapse against Caps in week one, but will have to do so on the road at MacDonald Park. The Bays are also looking for redemption after a surprising defeat at the hands of UVic
Castaway Wanderers @ UVic Vikes
UVic will look to keep the momentum going after a strong performance in their last outing, picking up the win despite having Pat Kay and Guiseppe Du Toit on assignment with Canada.
CW will also be missing Nanyak Dala, so it will take a big effort from them if they wish to avoid starting the season 0-2.
Rowers @ UBC Thunderbirds
The Rowers showed a lot of heart against Burnaby Lake in week one en-route to earning a hard fought tie and they’ll need to show that same determination against UBC who are coming off an opening week win over CW.
UBCOB Ravens @ James Bay AA
The Ravens will attempt to get back on track after a late collapse against Caps in week one, but will have to do so on the road at MacDonald Park. The Bays are also looking for redemption after a surprising defeat at the hands of UVic.
Americas Rugby Championship in Langford
Canada looks to bounce back in their third and final ARC fixture as they face Argentina on Sunday at 4:30pm.
There are 7 BC players on the Canada team and several others who play their club rugby in the CDI Premier League.
Canada opened the ARC last Saturday with a 20-6 win over Uruguay. Ray Barkwill and Kyle Gilmour had the tries for Canada.
SFU wrapped up the regional competition two weeks ago, with a 36-12 victory over Abbotsford in the Cup final and the two will get another shot at each other in the opening of the Adidas Women’s Premier League.
Other fixtures include reigning champs Burnaby Lake at Capilano and Velox Valkyries at Bayside.
