New Director For ViaSport

ViaSport is pleased to announce that Andrea Carey of Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) will be joining the ViaSport team as Director, ViaSport for Life, effective September 15, 2013.

Through ViaSport’s partnership with PISE, Andrea is being seconded into this new position for a period of two years to assist in developing BC’s regional sport hubs and continue building an effective sport system throughout the province.

“Through Andrea’s excellent work in helping develop PISE from start-up to an innovative sport institute, she has emerged as a strong sport development leader,” says Robert Bettauer, CEO, PISE.  “We are very excited for her to join the ViaSport team to help build sport and healthy, active lifestyles in every BC community.”

The skills and expertise Andrea bring to ViaSport support our mission to build a stronger, more effective system for sport delivery in BC and we are thrilled to have her on board.
