Milani Resigns
While some put in a “bit” of time helping a specific sport, the Vancouver Women’s Ball Hockey League was fortunate to have one individual run the program for several years.
Linda Milani played various roles over the past few years, but mostly she was the League President.
She made sure it ran smooth, made sure the floor times were organized and did her best to grow the league. Not an easy task by any means, but she did it.
The Provincial Championships just finished over the weekend at Port Moody and three teams from the League were in them as well as one team from Victoria, which is mostly new to the sport.
Linda has various sports on the “go” and following the weekend of games, she turned in her resignation as league President.
She will be missed as she was one of a few that could have filled that position in a manner of true professionalism.
I wish her all the best in the future and can only say “thanks” for all the hard work and time you put in to the program.
