The RBC Learn to Play Grant Program is now accepting applications from community groups and organizations.
This program is aimed at supporting the development and delivery of quality sport and recreation programming – programming that is consistent with the True Sport values and principles.
The RBC Learn to Play Project is providing kids with the right start in sport to enable them to PLAY and become healthy and active for life!
We know that kids need to learn fundamental movement skills to develop the confidence and competence to participate in sport and physical activity.
That’s why RBC, in partnership with ParticipACTION and other experts and strategic partners, created the RBC Learn to Play Project – an initiative dedicated to teaching kids the basics of being active and encouraging them to take part in sport and recreation programs.
At the heart of the RBC Learn to Play Project is the RBC Learn to Play Grant Program. This program supports local community groups and organizations that build and deliver quality sport and recreation programming to kids.
Program and Community Grants, ranging from $1,000 to $25,000, are awarded to local organizations and communities to implement programs and strategies consistent with teaching youth the basics of being active.
