HELP PLAN SPORTS IN DELTA

Sports in all communities require leadership – starting from each level of Government in the respective area.

Delta is one such community that is looking at making a secure commitment to ALL SPORTS in the area.

While some might have not heard of it, an organization called the Delta Sport Council has set up “shop” and working extremely diligent for the betterment of sports in the area.

Politics aside – wouldn’t it be great if council would “buy into” such a program?

Meeting have taken place and without giving up, they are reaching out to the sports groups in the area to attend two meetings they have planned.

Anyone involved in sports in Delta,

Sports Groups:
Help Us Plan the Future of Sport in Delta – Sept 26th or Oct 10thCommunities throughout the Lower Mainland have created Sport Strategies, and there are changes taking place with respect to how sport is administered, governed, and funded provincially.
We’d like to invite all representatives and individuals, including parents, coaches, volunteers and administrators, to a collaborative session to be held at Municipal Hall.
Two session dates have been selected from which you can choose:  September 26th or October 10th.
