Locally the Vancouver C.s are currently on their last regular season road trip before returning home for the championship weekend with the games being played at Nat Bailey Stadium over the weekend of September 15th.
The Championship weekend has the C’s playing a series against the Everett Aqua Sox wrapping up a season of exciting ball for the Blue Jay’s farm club under the leadership of Manager Brent Lavallee who grew up playing ball and hockey in North Delta.
He clearly remembers his time in Delta and recently told us “he clearly remembers all the fun good times and still keeps in touch with some of his pals.
While the C’s are currently on the road below are some stats sent to us from Play by Play Tyler Zickel who enjoys his time in Vancouver.

The Canadians were shutout for the third time in 2023 Thursday night after a 4-0 loss to the Tri-City Dust Devils [Angels] at Gesa Stadium.
Tri-City grabbed an early lead thanks to a lead-off triple and a run-scoring groundout in the bottom of the first – the first time they’ve scored before the C’s in the series – then added another run with consecutive two out hits in the second to go in front 2-0.
The C’s missed plenty of chances to tie the game or take the lead. They had the bases loaded with two outs in the third and left them full then put the first two batters of the fourth aboard but stranded those men. A couple of C’s runners reached in the sixth to bring the go-ahead run to the plate with two outs and they had men at the corners with one away in the seventh, though nothing came of those opportunities.
A pair of two-out runs in the bottom of the seventh iced the game for the Dust Devils and they ran away with a 4-0 defeat of the C’s.
Garrett Spain paced the offense with two hits and a walk while Ryan McCarty also had two knocks. 2023 draft pick Nick Goodwin collected his first career High-A hit with a double in the ninth.
Vancouver will aim to even the series Friday night when they send Hunter Gregory to the hill opposite CJ Mayhue. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. and coverage is available on the Sportsnet Radio Network.

Vancouver jumped in front with two unearned runs in the top of the first. Ryan McCarty singled on the first pitch of the game then Nick Goodwin battled Dust Devils starter Chase Chaney (L, 7-7) for 11 pitches before the 12th pitch turned into an error that had runners at second and third with nobody out.
Gabby Martinez delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly two batters later and Garrett Spain followed that up with an RBI double to make it 2-0 Canadians.
Devereaux Harrison returned to the mound in Pasco where he made his first pro start in May and picked up where he left off after five scoreless innings four months ago.
The righty went 5.0 innings, allowed one run on four hits – one of which was a solo homer to start the fifth – struck out four and didn’t walk a batter in his final regular season start of the year.
After Ian Churchill retired all four batters he was assigned between the sixth and the seventh to keep the C’s ahead 2-1, Sam Ryan escaped a jam of his own making by stranding a single and two walks on base with an inning-ending strikeout on a 3-2 pitch.
Tri-City was undeterred after missing a seventh inning scoring opportunity, tying the game with a one-out solo shot from Gustavo Campero in the eighth which eventually sent the game to extra innings.
