Canada Mourns

Both myself and Laird have Military and Police backgrounds and understand the importance of what our Fathers fought for and it’s with this understanding that we off our Sincere Thoughts and Prayers to the Families of Nathan Cirillo.

Gun fire rang through the Parliament Building on a devastating day on Parliament Hill that killed a Hamilton reservist who dreamed of being a full-time soldier.

It is with sadness that this act of terrorism has deprived his kindergarten-aged Son of spending his days with his Father.

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo (24) was shot while on honorary guard at the National War Memorial. Ottawa Police announced hours after the shooting that the soldier shot at the memorial had died.

This act was stopped by Kevin Michael Vickers, the decorated RCMP veteran serving as the black-robed  Canada’s Sergeant-at-Arms who acted in a manner in which to protect his Country.

His act has not gone unnoticed and his act of bravery went above and beyond to protect the Members of Parliament and the Government of Canada

Canada will not fall to any act of terrorism and we are extremely grateful for those who protect us!!

I will not promote nor name the shooter who did this terrible act and take an innocent life of another brave Canadian.
