While many of us take our sight for granted, some are in need of support and when needed they call on the support of the BC/Alberta Guide Dogs.
This past while those Volunteers on Vancouver Island have been busy these past few weeks in various ways.
Special “thank you’s” to those volunteers who have been putting in consecutive weekend work a while back, keeping the organization running professional!
In Victoria we spent two days at the Vancouver Island Pet Expo and raised approximately $1500 through our “Two Will Do” campaign! Thank you to all those who supported us by bringing a toonie or two!

Dr. Prince and the Central Victoria Veterinarian Hospital has just announced an additional donation of $1,000 to Autism Support Dogs as a result of a special draw at Pet Expo. THANK YOU!!!
Meanwhile up in Nanaimo, the Jr. A Timbermen lacrosse team held a special event and raised over $1300 to support their sponsored dog Tim!
Our We were also met with great reception at the 1st anniversary celebration of Bosley’s in Nanaimo and at the Oak Bay Tea Party Parade.
Thanks to everyone for helping to put Vancouver Island on the map and raising funds!
