2015 Schedules Released

The weekend of September 19-20 marks the start of both the Canada West women’s rugby and field hockey seasons.

September 20 provides the rugby opener, when the 2014 Canada West champion Alberta Pandas visit the Calgary Dinos in a rematch of last year’s conference final.

The Victoria Vikes host the UBC Thunderbirds September 19 and 20 to open the field hockey schedule.

All told, the four-week rugby schedule includes 10 regular season contests, before Alberta hosts the four-team conference playoffs October 23-25.

The CIS national rugby tournament is slated for November 5-8 in Kingston at Queen’s University.

Canada West field hockey will feature three teams this season, as the Vikes and Dinos look to strip the conference crown from the 2014 Canada West and CIS champion Thunderbirds over the course of a six-week schedule.

The 2015 CIS field hockey season culminates in Victoria, where the Vikes will host the national tournament November 5-8.
