Just when you think it’ll never happen, the unexpected happens with the Vancouver Whitecaps announcing that they are planning on opening the Upper Bowl for four league matches as they celebrate their 50th season.

This season they have chosen the name which is not only fitting but unique as well and will be tagged as the Golden Era Pack.

This will include all four games which will begin with the Home opener plus 50th Anniversary Match, Inter Miami CF, as well as the match against LAFC.

We have heard that there is a strong demand from the public to be a part of the 50th Anniversary season from the public which shows the overall popularity and growth of the game.

There are also lower bowl season memberships which are in select sections only plus exclusive additional benefits which include a year-long subscription to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

To the surprise of many this will be the first time in the club’s MLS play that the upper bowl will open for regular season games.

To no real surprise last season saw the club have two of their top 10 largest crowds at BC Place which included their record-breaking MLS Cup Playoffs match of 30,204 fans.
