It’s great to get a press release from Kevin Hanson the Head Coach of UBC T-Birds letting us know what the future holds for the team and the school

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, but as the calendar turns to August, it is time to start thinking about what promises to be a very exciting year of Thunderbird Men’s Basketball. 
Not only are we eager to see our new recruits in action, but this year we will host the National Championships in March. We have added quite a few really talented players so now we just need to gel and get down to work.
A group of the boys played in the Kitsfest Tournament last weekend, winning it all in overtime by just a single point. Jordan Jensen-Whyte (pictured below with Ron Putzi) was named tournament MVP.
It was a great reward for him, he has been working on hard on his game all summer.
Golf Tournament
Just a reminder about our upcoming golf tournament. The 7th Annual Tournament will take place at Mayfair Lakes on Friday September 18. Please see further details below to register.
