The talent of a young unknown QB playing for Joss Yanciw continues to build his resume as one of the best quarterbacks you may not have heard of.
The leading passer in Double A had 1,000 yards as he entered the game on Friday taking on Moscrop Panthers that saw him hammer home a 60-yard scoring TD to Austin Blum.
To the surprise of many he wasn’t finished at that point as he ran for a pair of scores himself as the Seaquam Seahawks (2-1) routed host team, the Moscrop Panthers 28-8 in a game that was played the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex.
Jerry Mullis mentioned “This was a great win for the boys and that gives us two in a row, and tt puts is right back in the hunt, but we left points on the field, too and we fumbled twice inside their five-yard line.”
Masaki Kawanami also scored on a two-yard run for the winners, while Devon Gould led the defence with 10 tackles and three sacks.
Mt. Douglas Rams who are currently 5-0 thumped the winless West Vancouver Highlanders 34-0 in a game that saw a 0-5 squad that has the means of setting’s for a possible meetings between the unbeaten No. 4-seed – South Delta.
The Sun Devils (4-0) are frustrated that they were dropped down a level, but look to rebound both on and off the field.
