Now You Know Me!

Everyone knew the game would be close and the odds makers in Vegas had several odds in which to place a bet on, but this is one no one thought of.

Going through an entire game as close as it was, with Brady guiding his squad to the eventual Super Bowl 49 title, was nothing more than a shock, but we all know how good he really is.

For the most part Wilson had no receivers to deliver his “bomb” to and given the throwing power of his arm, it was just a sad in which to end Super Bowl 49.

So we all know some of the main players, but who is this Malcolm Butler and it goes without saying, he was the last person you would have named to grab the game winning catch on the second to last play of the game.

Regardless – he did it and the title goes to the Patriots, who were probably as shocked as the Seahawks on the win.

That close to the title and having the ball end up in the arms of the opposition, was shock to everyone, including Wilson, who was in disbelief about the reception.

Malcolm Butler made quite possibly one of the greatest plays ever in the history of any Super Bowl when he intercepted the pass on the goal line to sink the Seahawks and give the Patriots’ 28-24 win.

Butler, who is a rookie out of Western Alabama, entered the game with only 15 career tackles and four (4) passes defended all season and he came up with one of the best plays in Patriots history.

No different than what commentator Cris Collinsworth stated” I cannot believe that the Seahawks tried to throw a pass in that situation rather than run it with Marshawn Lynch”, so obvious shock to everyone. 

I along with millions that tuned in was convinced the Seahawks were going to score on the drive and take the lead, shocking Bill Belichick,  but everyone knows the outcome.

Just when you thought the Patriots were cursed after the Jermaine Kearse catch on a play that saw him break his wrist, Butler comes back and pulls off one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history

Shock and disbelief, but what a FINISH!!
