Many individuals make up a sports team and some stay while others move on in part due to moving up in the industry for various clubs and/or teams which is why they got involved at the start.

We are hearing that long-time Athletic Therapist Nick Murray who started with the Giants in 2011 is leaving the Vancouver Giants organization to work as the Head Athletic Therapist at Douglas College.

He’s been a main-stay with the club and was hired by Hockey Canada to be an integral part of the Under-18 World Championships that were played in Zug and Lucerne, Switzerland.

When asked about this Bonner stated “Anytime a player or staff member is involved with Hockey Canada and attends an international event, it really benefits our club and they always come back a better player or employee, and we’re excited for Nick to have this great opportunity!”

All this while working under the direction of Scott Bonner and Don Hay and given the professionalism shown by the Vancouver Giants organization I know he will be missed by one and all.

The Giants will be accepting applications for the position of Athletic Therapist immediately.

Applications can be sent to info@vancouvergiants.com with the subject line “Application for Athletic Therapist”.

Secure your Giants season tickets for the 2017/18 season today, and you’ll get priority access to tickets for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championships!
