Leland Irving Welcomes New Addition
Abbotsford Heat are proud to announce that Ashley and Leland Irving welcomed their first child into the Heat family today as their daughter Halle Annie Irving was born at 5:10AM this morning weighing 8 pounds 5 ounces.
Leland did not make the trip as his club headed to Charlotte, North Carolina to play their final two road games of the regular season in a possible playoff preview with the Checkers.
The two clubs currently hold down the fourth and sixth spots in the Western Conference separated by just five points with the Checkers holding three games-in-hand.
Following the trip to the Carolinas, the Heat will return home to play their final two home games of the regular season – hosting the Toronto Marlies on April 13th and 15th.
