Langara, Fraserview & McCleery

The 2011 Paine Edmonds Canadian Open hits the links at three of Vancouver Park Boards courses; Langara, Fraserview and McCleery.
Coming off a successful RBC PGA held at Shaunessy is the defending 2010 Canadian Champion Adam Hadwin who will tee off against the number one PGA professional – Bryn Parry, Nick Taylor, Darren Wallace as well as Adam Svensson who played at the Canadian Junior Championship at Morgan Creek in South Surrey.
Adam seems to be taking everything is stride give his rise to stardom on the golf circuit over the past seven weeks, with the likes of the RBC Canadian Open and at Greenbrier, so clearly the pressure will be on him, rather than the field playing.
Those playing will be competing for a $10,000 first place prize money and of course this could not be possible without the sponsors inolved.
Special thanks to Paine Edmonds, Market Place IGA and Augusta Resource Corp. At the completion of the Press Conference, all four Champions will take part in a ‘Champions’ Clinic, styled similar to Jack Nicklaus’ Memorial Clinic.
Today started off with the normal Press Conference at 10 AM where all attending Media present got a Q&A session with four Canadian National Golf Champions.

Bryn Parry – 1999, 2005 Canadian Assistant Pro Champion, 2009 Van Open Champion, 2011 Canada Cup Champion
