The Lower Mainland Baseball Association baseball community was greatly saddened to hear of George Pinter’s passing March 17th.
George was greatly respected all member of the Delta Stars club, the Lower Mainland Baseball Association and Ladner Minor Baseball Association.
He was a dedicated, focused, devoted and well respected to the baseball community as well as the community of Delta.
He played the game with obvious enthusiasm and great respect for his fellow team-mates, his opponents and the umpires both on and off the diamond.
The baseball community was not only lucky, they were fortunate to have had him as part of our group and he will be greatly missed by everyone.
The Lower Mainland Baseball Association fully extends our sincerest sympathies to George’s Friends and Family and we are extremely honoured to dedicate our 2014 season in his memory.
