It marked the eighth straight season he has managed to surpass the 1,000-yard receiving plateau.
Simon’s told the media “I am very happy to sign another extension,” Simon said in a statement. “I feel as strong and fast as ever and I truly believe we have a legitimate shot at winning a championship in 2011 with the team we’re putting together.
”The upcoming CFL season will be Simon’s 13th overall and 11th with B.C.“Geroy’s accomplishments on the field are well documented and he continues to be a significant part of our offence,” said Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono.
“He’s led by example throughout his time as a Lion and his dedication to being the best player on the field is remarkable.”
With the Grey Cup being held in Vancouver this seaon under the newly renovated BC Place, it would be great to see the Lions playing this November.
