CANUCKS RE-SIGN LACK
Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have re-signed goaltender Eddie Lack to a two year deal.
Lack, 25, made his NHL debut this season with the Canucks on October 6, 2013, against the Calgary Flames, stopping 32 shots faced and recording his first career victory. In five appearances this season, Lack has posted a 2-2-0 record and .911 save percentage.
Prior to making his NHL debut, the Norrtälje, Sweden, native played three seasons with the Canucks AHL affiliates, the Manitoba Moose and Chicago Wolves.
In his first AHL season with the Moose, he compiled a .926 save percentage and was named to the AHL All-Rookie team.
The 6’5”, 196-pound goaltender was originally signed by Vancouver as a free agent on April 6, 2010.
