Canucks Play-Off Dates Set

The Canucks ended the season on a high note not only be defeating the Oilers by a margin of 3-1, by grabbing the club’s 2^nd President’s Trophy with 111 points.

The win not only boosts the confidence level of the players, but shows that they do indeed play as a unit with an exceptional tandem of solid goaltending in the back end.

So for the die-hard fans, let’s take it one round at a time and keep the “morons” out of the City, so as to avoid another riot!!!

The Canucks play in Series E on the NHL schedule for play-off games for the 2011-12 season.

Both the Canucks and Ottawa are the only two Canadian teams who are looking to give Canada its first Stanley Cup since 1993.

That was when Montreal knocked off LA Kings to the surprise of many.

In the East, HNIC will follow the Ottawa Senators, who grabbed 8^th and final playoff spot in the conference managing a 41-31-10 record for 92 points and will face the top-seeded New York Rangers.

The eastern series starts April 12 with the face-off set for 7pm Eastern Time.

Vancouver will host Los Angeles in a best-of-seven series starting April 11 on CBC’s Hockey Night In Canada and NBC Sports Network at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
