Canucks Give Back

Published on

The Vancouver Canucks will host BC Minor Hockey Teams at Rogers Arena for a unique opportunity to play on the Canucks home ice December 8-9th.
This once in a life-time opportunity for several minor hockey players is something that the Canucks are pleased to host.
“We are thrilled to host a weekend of BC Minor Hockey games at Rogers Arena,” said Canucks President and General Manager, Mike Gillis. “This is a unique opportunity for young players and their teams to create a lasting memory and skate where their hockey heroes play. ”A total of 24 BC Minor Hockey teams will be randomly selected to play a team of their equal age, ability and gender.
Each day, six hour-long games will be played out on the home ice of the Vancouver Canucks beginning at 8 a.m.
The game experience will include a DJ, in-game announcements and post-game media interactions.
For more information on the weekend’s events, please contact Rod Brathwaite at 604-899-7770 or go to www.canucks.com/grassroots.
The Canucks are a class organization and for them to give back is something they should be thanked for.
