With the Canucks still trying to get everyone settled in to the New Coach, plus the injuries they have had over the last while, it’s no surprise that they look to bring David Booth back from Utica.
It was obvious that he needed the conditioning in the Minor’s, due to time missed playing such a fast paced game at the pro level. He now returns and should offer some much needed offence in the Attacking zone of the ice.
Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled left wing David Booth from a conditioning assignment with the Utica Comets. Darren Archibald has been re-assigned to Utica.
Booth recorded an assist in three games with Utica, helping them record their first franchise victory and finish 2-1-0 when he was in the lineup. The Detroit, MI, native has recorded 202 points (105-97-202) in 308 career NHL games with the Florida Panthers and Canucks.
Archibald made his NHL debut with Vancouver, collecting two assists in eight games. The Newmarket, ON, native has appeared in four games for the Comets this season, collecting two points (1-1-2).
