It seems every year there is a highlight game and this night had the Senior AAA game  feature a rematch from last years final between New Westminster Hyacks and Terry Fox Ravens who were listed as the number 1 in the Province.

Last years match up saw the Ravens pull out a last minute win scoring a TD with no time left on the clock winning the title 14-7.

This year saw the teams play intense going scoreless in the opening quarter was scoreless with both team defenses play tough that saw Terry Fox Cade Cote rip off a 89 yard run in the opening minutes of the second quarter.

They extend the lead to 14-0 at halftime over the Hyacks, but the second half saw the Hyacks manage a long drive downfield.

From here they managed to put the ball into the end zone pulling within seven bringing their huge crowd to life narrowing the score to 14-7.

The final minutes saw the Ravens go for a field goal trying to extend their lead only to shank it wide left giving the Hyacks with one last chance.

They managed to move the ball to the Ravens 30 yard line and with a fourth and 17 play the Hyacks managed a completion on the 10 yard line.

One can assume that the final play was called in from the bench coaching staff that saw QB Kinsale find Sebastian Reid in the end zone grabbing a TD making is a the score 14-13 with one second left on the clock.

The choice was simple they either go for a single to tie the game or go for a two point convert, either way making for an exciting finish to a full day of High School Football at BC Place.

They chose the later giving Kinsale Phillip the ball with him managing to cross the line to completing an amazing come from behind victory stunning the Ravens with a 15-14 victory.
