A Day To Remember
Some go through life without a worry in the world, but others are the force of ridicule by some individuals that are plain and simple “Bullies”
They seem to think that they are always right and can openly push anyone around, regardless of where you are at when they feel the time is right.
Now we are hearing about a Defensive End for the Houston Texans that took it upon himself to come to the aid of a young individual who was “Bullied” while attending school.
My first question is why did the school not do anything and if so why is this not made public so everyone knows how they reacted to this act of if nothing else “Stupidity” by “Bullies” at the school?
No parent sends their young Son or Daughter, especially at the age of 12 to have them openly teased or bullied by some low-life individuals in society, but it happened.
As a part of this he (Billy) moved to another school and again instantly became a victim of bullying because of his looks, due to his teeth and the way he walks, but as any youngster was dreaming that he would someday be able to play football professionally.
To the surprise of many he got help and it clearly wasn’t what he expected, but ironically was from a man who once faced the same problems.
Houston Texans Defensive End J.J. Watt worked hard to get to where he is today but when he heard about Billy and what he was going through, he decided to intervene.
Now if you’re a betting person, who would you place your bet with – A middle school bully or one of the toughest guys in NFL?? My money is on JJ Watt who was drafted by the Texans with the 11th pick in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft
Not only did JJ help out so did the YMCA in Houston as well and for me – that’s money and time well spent!!
This should never happen to anyone!!
