2014 Northwest Showcase

The Great Northwest Showcase will be hosted at Bill Copeland Arena in Burnaby on January 3rd and 4th, 2014 and hosted by Simon Fraser Men’s hockey club.

If this is as well played as the event last year, it’s something you might not want to miss out on. Great players that are striving to achieve success in the hockey world.

This is a four game exhibition showcasing top-level international University Men’s Hockey while promoting the importance of education during an athlete’s career.

Players like first round NHL draft pick Jordan Schmaltz, Team USA’s Rocco Grimaldi, and former Surrey Eagle Adam Tambellini will hit the ice in January as members of UND.

SFU will look for their first win against an NCAA D1 opponent after falling 3-0 to Sacred Heart University in October.

UND Alumni and current Rogers Sportsnet Analyst Garry Valk will assist with a ceremonial puck drop for the SFU vs UND game.
