Graduation for the 2020 Class can clearly be listed under “strange and bewilderment” for any Grads that attend the 25th reunion in 2045, if not stories for their Grandchildren in years to come.

If one wanted to put it to music, clearly it could be listed on the 1964 Rubber Soul Album song entitled “In My Life” written by Lennon and McCartney and recorded October 18th by The Beatles.

Truth be known; it was more of a “Magical Mystery Tour” or “The Long and Winding Road” from the first day your Mom or Dad took you to Kindergarten watching you grow from your young years into a mature young Adult.

For some school was a struggle at every turn you took, while others seemed to be somewhat of a “cakewalk” without any issues, but regardless the journey was entertaining, for you and your Parents.

Some might still struggle searching for what the future holds, not knowing if they might follow in the footsteps of their parents career’s or will they venture into the sunset in search of their own dream.

While your parents deserve much of the credit for developing you into the person you are, we would be remiss if we failed to mention the teachers who guided you to watch you succeed.

Some students will be returning this fall to get the credits for their B.C. Certificate of Graduation or “Dogwood Diploma” awarded to students who successfully complete the Provincial Graduation requirements.

For those entering the workforce it’ll be somewhat challenging, but eventually they will all achieve success reaching their dreams for future generations.

On behalf of Laird Allan, Bruce Nolte and myself we congratulate you on your success to date and wish you much success!!

Congratulations to the Graduation Class of 2020.
