Here’s a unique idea if you are wondering how to transform your City/Village/Town or wherever you might live at and keep in mind it’s not confined to the larger areas.

Call it “Party Time – Fun For All” can be seen in Vancouver’s West End and takes place July 27th from 5 to 9 PM.

The event is hosted by Young Ideas at Gordon Neighborhood House which is a volunteer group that hosts events for neighbors in their 20’s and 30’s who live, work and hangout in Vancouver’s West End and generously sponsored by the West End BIA.

The committee is taking over the Jim Deva Plaza on Bute and Davie and transforming it into a street-long night and will feature local musicians and DJ’s, heex-a-pong (six person ping pong) and various other events.

There will also be outdoor patio-style seating with room for games, free drinks and if you’re old enough you can grab a craft beer for only $3.00.

One has to think this might actually catch-on for other communities.
