Canucks GM Jim Benning announced today that the club has signed Dustin Jeffrey and Cal O’Reilly (both centre’s) and defenceman Bobby Sanguinetti.

Cal O’ReillyJeffrey (26) split the 2013.14 season between the Pittsburgh Penguins (0-1-1 in 10 GP), Dallas Stars (2-1-3 in 24 GP) and Texas Stars (4-6-10 in 21 GP).

The Sarnia native has collected 31 career points (17-14-31) in 124 NHL games.

The 6’1”, 205-pound centre was originally selected 171st overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by Pittsburgh.

O’Reilly (27) split the 2013.14 season between the Magnitogorsk Metallurg of the KHL (0-1-1 in 14 GP) and the Utica Comets (7-38-45 in 52 GP).

The Toronto, Ontario native has appeared in 113 NHL games, collecting 41 points (13-28-41) and 12 penalty minutes in 113 games with the Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes and Pittsburgh Penguins.

The 6’0”, 188-pound centre was originally drafted 150th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by Nashville.

Sanguinetti, 26, spent the 2013.14 season with Moscow Oblast Atlant of the KHL. He recorded seven points (2-5-7) and two penalty minutes in 15 games.

The New Jersey native has also played three seasons in the NHL with the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers.

Over the span of his NHL career, Sanguinetti has collected six points (2-4-6) and eight penalty minutes in 45 games.

The 6’3”, 190-pound defenceman was originally selected 21st overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers.

Canucks announced the expected roster and schedule of their Prospects Development Camp and a total of 36 players are scheduled to report.

In addition it should be noted that the club has signed defenceman Alex Biega.

Biega, 26, spent the 2013.14 season with the Utica Comets, collecting 22 points (3-19-22) in 73 games played. It marked his fourth season in the AHL and first in the Canucks organization.

The Montreal, Quebec native was originally selected 147th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Buffalo Sabres.
