Scotiabank Nooners To Bobblehead Giveaways

For many teams, players and fans the hockey sticks are put away and now turn their attention to the diamond.

Each year Sportswave covers the Vancouver Canadians and gets behind the scenes to let you know what is taking place for the upcoming season.

This year is no different as the Canadians recently announced its Promotional Schedule for the upcoming 2016 Single A season.

The club is hosting nine (9) fireworks extravaganzas, seven (7) Scotiabank “Nooners” bobblehead giveaways, Superstar Series appearances and much more all at “The Nat.”

June 20^th is the opening night with the first official pitch thrown out at 7:05pm with this being the first of 38 regular season home games.

Opening night is presented by Whistler Brewing and will feature a magnetic schedule giveaway to the first 2,500 fans as well as a post-game fireworks extravaganza.

The Canadians will feature nine (9) fireworks extravaganzas in total with three of them coming in the first home stand to celebrate the return of our “Boys of Summer”.

If you’re looking at taking a day off work make plans and attend one of seven sun drenched Scotiabank ‘Nooners all with starting times of 1:05pm.

In addition they feature six (6) A&W Family Fun Sundays that cater to those in your family 12 years of age and under.

With a cool gate giveaway should you arrive early enough, and a post-game “Run The Bases” which is always special for the youngsters.

If you’re a bobblehead collector or a lover of Unique Design bobbleheads pencil in Wednesday, August 10^th and Thursday, August 18^th on the schedule as we feature rare Roberto Osuna and Kevin Pillar bubbleheads.

These will be given to the first 1,000 fans in attendance all presented by The Keg Steakhouse + Bar and Scotiabank.

They are planning on (again) hosting the annual Superstar Series with a special visit from the Famous Chicken presented by BC Egg Monday July 25^th.

The BC Sports Hall of Fame welcomes baseball greats Mike Cameron (June 22), Jack Morris (June 23), Dave Stieb (July 21) and JT Snow (July 29).
